MILWAUKEE (Dec. 21, 2020) \u2013 For the sixth consecutive season, Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs and the Milwaukee Bucks are teaming up to fight hunger across the state through the Block Out Hunger campaign. Cousins Subs\u2019 Make It Better Foundation will donate $50 for every shot the Bucks block during the 2020-21 regular season to Hunger Task Force to purchase nutritious milk for the nearly 50,000 Wisconsin families the nonprofit organization and its affiliate food pantries serve.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cousins Subs is especially proud to partner with community-driven organizations like the Milwaukee Bucks and Hunger Task Force to make it better for thousands of vulnerable children and families by ensuring they have access to nutritious milk,\u201d said Cousins Subs Vice President of Marketing Justin McCoy.<\/p>\n

Last season the Milwaukee Bucks blocked 429 shots, which was the third most in the NBA. As a result, Cousins Subs donated $21,450 to Hunger Task Force. Since its inception in the 2015-16 season, the Block Out Hunger campaign has raised more than $97,500 to support Hunger Task Force and its affiliated pantries across the state of Wisconsin.<\/p>\n
