Subs \u00ae and the Milwaukee Bucks teamed up to raise $20,150 through their<\/p>\n
Block Out Hunger campaign during the 2022-2023 season. Last week, team members<\/p>\n
from Cousins Subs and the Milwaukee Bucks held a press conference at Fiserv<\/p>\n
Forum to present Hunger Task Force with the campaign check.<\/p>\n
The trio also hosted nearly 40<\/p>\n
local school children at the Fiserv Forum Atrium for the celebration, including<\/p>\n
free lunch from Cousins Subs, a gift bag filled with swag items, music from<\/p>\n
Bucks\u2019 DJ Shauna and games with Bucks\u2019 Hoop Troop members.<\/p>\n
Wrapping up its eighth season, the<\/p>\n
Block Out Hunger campaign pledges that for every block the Bucks tally during<\/p>\n
the regular season, the Cousins Subs Make It Better Foundation donates $50 to<\/p>\n
Hunger Task Force to help fight food insecurity across the state. This season,<\/p>\n
the Bucks completed 403 blocks for a total of $20,150 donated to Hunger Task<\/p>\n
Force.<\/p>\n

partner with Cousins Subs and the Bucks for the past eight seasons. The \u2018Block<\/p>\n
Out Hunger\u2019 campaign is a great partnership and another way to increase<\/p>\n
awareness about hunger and to help feed families in communities statewide,\u201d<\/p>\n
said Sherrie Tussler, executive director of Hunger Task Force. \u201cThe work we do<\/p>\n
at Hunger Task Force wouldn\u2019t be possible without the support of the community<\/p>\n
and partners like these. We\u2019re thankful to make a difference together and close<\/p>\n
another year on a solid note.\u201d<\/p>\n
Since its inception in the 2015-16<\/p>\n
season, the Block Out Hunger campaign has raised more than $150,000 to support<\/p>\n
Hunger Task Force and its affiliated pantries across the state of Wisconsin.<\/p>\n
