KEWASKUM, Wis. (March 10, 2022) \u2013 Cousins Subs \u00ae in Kewaskum joined<\/p>\n
forces with the Kewaskum community to host a donation day for police officer<\/p>\n
Kevin Kohn, who suffered a debilitating stroke in the line of duty. On<\/p>\n
Wednesday, March 2, for every ham & provolone, tuna and turkey breast sub sold<\/p>\n
throughout the day, $8 was donated to Officer Kohn.<\/p>\n
Between the number<\/p>\n
of subs purchased and additional monetary donations from customers, more than<\/p>\n
$23,000 was raised by the end of the one-day fundraising event.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve known Officer<\/p>\n
Kohn for years and when a friend reached out about holding a fundraiser for<\/p>\n
him, it was a no-brainer,\u201d said Keith Novotny, Cousins Subs franchisee and<\/p>\n
owner. \u201cI thought it was a great idea and knew it would be a huge day because<\/p>\n
the Kewaskum community always supports one another.\u201d<\/p>\n
At close of<\/p>\n
business, Cousins Subs sold 1,962 subs, resulting in a total donation of<\/p>\n
$15,696. Local community members contributed monetary donations totaling more<\/p>\n
