{"id":201,"date":"2020-01-30T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-01-30T09:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cousinsdev.trivera.ai\/?p=201"},"modified":"2020-01-30T09:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-01-30T09:00:00","slug":"cousins-subs-launches-wisconsin-sports-awards-scholarship-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cousinsdev.trivera.ai\/?p=201","title":{"rendered":"Cousins Subs Launches Wisconsin Sports Awards Scholarship Contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MILWAUKEE (Jan. 30, 2020)- For the eighth consecutive year, Cousins Subs\u00ae and its Make It Better Foundation will award a total of $20,000 in scholarships to four high school student athletes from across the state of Wisconsin as part of its Wisconsin Sports Awards Scholarship Contest .<\/p>\n<p>From Saturday, February 1 through Saturday, February 29, high school senior athletes, who have participated in a WIAA sanctioned sport, excel in academics and make a difference in their hometown through community service, are encouraged to apply for a scholarship to help offset the cost of their college education. The Make It Better Foundation will award four scholarships:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Two $7,500 scholarships to one male and one female applicant \u2022 Two $2,500 scholarships to one male and one female applicant<\/p>\n<p>The four contest winners will be recognized during the 2020 Wisconsin Sports Awards held this summer in Milwaukee. They will walk the blue carpet at this exclusive VIP event, which celebrates the best professional, collegiate and high school athletes from across the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCousins Subs is Local at Heart and we\u2019re privileged to be able to invest in the education of four hard-working and servant-minded students who make it better for the communities we proudly call home,\u201d said Justin McCoy, Vice President of Marketing at Cousins Subs.<\/p>\n<p>The four scholarships are funded by the Make It Better Foundation, which is the brand\u2019s nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to addressing the vital community needs of youth education, hunger and health and wellness.
