INDIANAPOLIS (September 23, 2024) \u2013 Cousins Subs\u00ae is excited to announce a special community initiative at its College Park location, benefiting local schools through its “Weekend Donation” campaign. From September 27 to November 3, five schools will have the opportunity to raise funds for their Parent-Teacher Organizations (PTOs) with a percentage of weekend sales donated directly to their cause. The school that generates the highest sales over their designated weekend will also receive a matching donation from the Cousins Subs Make It Better Foundation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to engage with the Indianapolis community and support our local schools through this fun, competitive event,\u201d said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing at Cousins Subs. \u201cAt Cousins Subs, we\u2019re always looking for ways to make a positive impact, and we hope this initiative helps these schools achieve their goals while enjoying a great meal with family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Weekend Donation schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n
\u2022 September 27 – September 29: Westlane Middle School PTO<\/p>\n
\u2022 October 4 – October 6: Greenbriar Elementary School PTO<\/p>\n
\u2022 October 18 – October 20: Creekside Middle School PTO<\/p>\n
\u2022 October 25 – October 27: Northview Middle School PTO<\/p>\n
\u2022 November 1 – November 3: Trailside Elementary School PTO<\/p>\n
During each school’s designated weekend, 15% of sales from Friday to Sunday will be donated to the respective PTO. Additionally, the Cousins Subs Make It Better Foundation will offer a matching donation based on the school\u2019s sales and size:<\/p>\n
\u2022 1st Place: 100% match<\/p>\n
\u2022 2nd Place: 75% match<\/p>\n
\u2022 3rd Place: 50% match<\/p>\n
\u2022 4th Place: 25% match<\/p>\n
\u2022 5th Place: 10% match<\/p>\n
As an added bonus, visitors can enter the “Free Subs for a Year” drawing by submitting their information at the College Park location during any campaign weekend.<\/p>\n
This initiative marks one of the first major community-driven efforts at the Cousins Subs College Park location, the brand\u2019s very first store in Indianapolis. Cousins Subs, a family-owned company rooted in the Midwest, is committed to serving its communities through its Make It Better Foundation, which was established to extend the brand\u2019s mission of creating a world of good. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided more than $1.2 million in funding for health & wellness, hunger and youth education initiatives throughout the communities Cousins Subs serves.<\/p>\n
